Work it all Out at Ballinteer St Johns this Summer

At Ballinteer St Johns the Health and Well Being of all our members is important.  The last 18 months has been challenging in many different ways for all of us, with life, our routines, plans, training and matches disrupted.

Thankfully we are almost through it and the return of our players to the training fields and then to matches, has given us all a much needed boost!  While it is super to have our players, both juvenile and adult back training and being active, we were keen to do something for our wider community, members and non members to help get fit and active again.  And for those who were used to going to the gym or classes pre the pandemic, it is a great way to get back into the routine of to face to face classes again.

Danny Casey has been running Strength and Conditioning Classes at Ballinteer St Johns for many years.  Coming out of lockdown and with restrictions lifting, together with Danny we saw an opportunity to provide lunchtime Strength and Conditioning classes outdoors for our community.  Danny has a serious passion for health and fitness and we are delighted to be partnering with him on this initiative.

The classes are open to everyone, members and non members, men and women, players and non players and all fitness levels.   It is also great for the mind and our wellbeing to be outside meeting people while getting fit and active.

If you haven’t joined yet, why not give it a go?  Try a free session anytime!

Classes take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12.15pm – 1pm and 1pm to 1.45pm.  You can contact Danny at 087 066 4826 or to find out more please visit www.dannycasey.ie.
