Plenty of Skon ‘Club Person of the Award’ nominations rolled in over the summer months, and our winners for July & August as decided by the Communications Committee are Eoin Walsh & Niamh Minogue. Both will receive €50 All 4 One voucher from Skon.
Niamh is a mentor with the u9 girls teams, and Niamh was nominated twice for her work with this group. This group of 73 girls benefits from Niamh’s guidance and support which is second to none. “I cannot recommended Niamh highly enough – she gives 110% at all times. There is an amazing morale in the 2012 girls group and Niamh is a very big part of creating it. We are so lucky to have her.”
Eoin is a life-long Ballinteer St Johns member and his contributions across age-groups and codes are many. This nomination focussed on Eoin’s work with our youngest members in the Nursery “Eoin is a great leader in the nursery setup – running the nursey for the past 3 years. He never complains about anything – he just supported and advised people through the whole pandemic.” With the nursey at record numbers each Saturday, it really is a job well done!
