Our Adult Hurling Teams got their League campaigns underway last weekend, in their first competitive matches in over about 9 months!
Senior Hurlers
AHL1 BSJ 2-13 Lucan 5-18
The Senior Hurlers got their league campaign off to a start away to Lucan Sarsfields on Saturday at the12th Lock. We started very well with 2 goals from Joe Maher and Rob Aherne but Lucan hit back and 2 goals before half time to put them in control. We battled all the way and the game finished BSJ 2-13 – Lucan 5-18. Next up is a home match vs Kilmacud Crokes on July 3rd.
Intermediate Hurlers
AHL4 BSJ 2-7 Cuala 0-6
BSJ intermediate hurlers enjoyed a winning start to their Division 4 campaign on Saturday evening with a hard fought win over Cuala.
Enjoying a whirlwind start with two goals in the first five minutes, Johns built a lead that Cuala were never able to close as a result of resolute defending by the home side. Next up is an away match vs St Judes on July 3rd.

Junior Hurlers
AHL8 BSJ 2-08 St Brigids 4-12
The Junior Hurlers got their league campaign off to a start at home to St Brigids on Sunday morning in Marlay. It was a well contested match with good performances all over the pitch but Brigid’s were that bit stronger on the day. Our 2 goals were scored by Brendan Donnelly and Conor Murphy and the game finished BSJ 2-08 – Lucan 4-12. Next up is an away match vs Ballyboden St Endas on July 4th.
